One One of his most popular books of verse is the Bóbita, which contains poems for children. Many poems were set to music. Hungarian children sing them with pleasure at home, in kindergardens or schools.
His prizes He He received in 1970 Kossuth-prize. From that reward he founded the Pásztor Béla-prize, which can be given to young poets. The The Kossuth-prize is given in Hungary for people who worked excellently in science, art or literature
