2 Családotthon Havadtőn
A Családotthon Alapítvány a Gyermekekért immár 12 éve működik. Vezetője Sebesi Ildikó, aki vallástanárnőként került kapcsolatba a Nyárád- és Küküllőmente kis falvaiban mély szegénységben élő gyermekekkel. Nehéz helyzetüket látva a nagyszüleitől örökölt házat alakította át, hogy alkalmas legyen gyermekek befogadására. A kezdeményezésének köszönhetően immár 80 gyermek és fiatal nőtt fel a házban és kapott esélyt az életre. A havadtői házban jelenleg több mint 30 gyermek és fiatal él együtt, akik mind nagyon nehéz körülmények közül vagy árvaságból kerültek ide. A közösség önfenntartó, együtt művelik a kertet, főznek, takarítanak. Ugyanakkor a délután folyamán ők maguk visznek magányos öregeknek is meleg ételt: „Így megtanulhatják a szeretetszolgálat lényegét, megtanulnak valamit kapni és valamit adni” – vallja Sebesi Ildikó. "Alapelvem, hogy minden gyermeknek joga van a teljes és boldog élethez, ezért igyekszem felépíteni számukra egy biztos, keresztény alapokon álló jövőképet, hogy a későbbiekben egyenlő eséllyel tudjanak elindulni az életben. Áldozatok ők - felelőtlen döntések, embertelen körülmények miatt kellet őket kiemelni eredeti környezetükből." Family Home in Havadtő The Domus Familialis Foundation in Viforasa/Havadtő, Romania was founded by Ms Ildikó Sebesi who got in contact as religion teacher with the children living in extreme poverty in the surrounding villages. She wanted to help them therefore she turned the house inherited from her grandparents into a children’s home. During its 12 years of functioning a total of 80 children and young adults grew up in the house and received a chance for life. Currently in the house there are more than 30 children and young people living together. Some of them are orphans, others come from very poor families that cannot provide them with food or education. The community is self-supporting, they are cultivating the fruits and vegetables in the garden, they look after the animals that provide them milk and meat. Meanwhile, in the afternoons they bring warm meal to lonely old people in the village. Thus they learn not only to receive, but also to give. As Ms Sebesi says, ‘My underlying principle is that each and every child has a right to a whole and happy life, therefore I try to provide these children with a future based on solid, Christian ground so that they can start their lives with equal opportunities. These children are victims – victims of irrresponsible decisions or inhumane circumstances’.

3 2014 nyarán jártunk először a havadtői Családotthonban, használt ruhákat vittünk a gyermekek számára. Így kerültünk személyes kapcsolatba velük, és tapasztaltuk meg, hogy milyen erőfeszítések által sikerül fenntartani ezt a kezdeményezést. Ekkor döntöttünk el, hogy megpróbálunk további támogatást biztosítani számukra. During the summer of 2014 we brought second-hand clothes to the house. This is how we got in personal contact with the children and experienced the difficulties that this community faces for its bare existence. This is how we decided to try to find further support to help them.

4 Karácsony közeledtével gyűjtési akciót indítottunk, amelynek köszönhetően összegyűlt egy egész autónyi ruha, játék, élelem, édesség, cipő, valamint egy 400 eurónyi (1600 lej) pénzösszeg. Rájöttünk, hogy nagyon sokan örömmel segítenek, hogyha tudják, hogy olyan helyre kerül az adomány, ahol valóban szükség van rá. As Christmas was approaching we initiated a collection for the Family Home. As a result a car was filled with clothes, toys, food, sweets and also an amount of 400 euro was collected. We found that people are happy to give if they know that their donations reach the ones in need.

5 Előre szóltunk Sebesi Ildióknak, hogy sikeres volt a gyűjtés, így december 23-án kivinnénk nekik az összegyűlt adományokat. A megbeszélt időben meg is érkeztünk. Arra számítottunk, hogy lejönnek a gyerekek, és mi megajándékozzuk őket. De nem így történt. Bennünket hellyel kínáltak, mialatt a ház apraja és nagyja, kicsik és nagyok, fiúk és lányok mind összegyűltek, és egy karácsonyi műsort adtak nekünk. Furulyáztak, énekeltek, verset és igéket mondtak. Ezután pedig egy-egy kis általuk készített ajándékkal megköszönték a segítségünket. Tudták, látták, hogy az autó tele van minden jóval, mégis ők adtak nekünk először. Ilyen megható karácsonyi ajándékot sohasem kaptunk még. After we saw that our initiative was successful, we let Ms Sebesi know that we would bring them the donations on 23 December. We arrived on time to the home and were expecting to be surrounded by the children whom we would give the presents. But this wasn’t what really happened. They told us to sit down in the hall while all of them gathered and surprised us with a Christmas performance. They played the flute, sang songs, told poems and verses from the Bible. Then we were given small presents prepared by themselves. Although they saw that the car was full of bags and boxes, everything a child can be dreaming of, they surprised us and first gave us presents. I think we have never received such a moving present in our lives before.

Ezután jött el a pillanat, amikor végre mi ajándékozhattuk meg őket. Elmondtuk, hogy mi minden gyűlt össze a számukra, utána pedig mindenkit megleptünk egy kis játékkal és édességgel. Kértük, hogy behunyt szemmel válasszanak, ezt is nagyon komolyan vették, és elmondhatatlan volt az öröm, amit az arcukon láttunk az apró ajándékok miatt. Finally, it the moment came when we could give them presents. We let them know about all the things that were collected for them and then gave them all one by one a small toy and sweets. We asked them to close their eyes and not to cheat while taking a present from the bag. They took this very seriously. The joy on their faces for this small present is impossible to describe.

9 Végül együtt játszottunk, beszélgettünk, ismerkedtünk kicsikkel és nagyokkal.
Finally we ended up playing together, getting to know each other, younge and old.

10 Megtudtuk, hogy ... mind kitűnő tanulók már az óvodában. Megszámlálhatatlan a piros pontok és csillagok száma, amit mind számon tartanak. ... van egy olyan kislány, aki olyan tehetségesen rajzol, hogy minden felkészítés nélkül 250 jelentkezőből másodikként jutott be a marosvásárhelyi Művészeti Líceum rajz szakára ötödik osztályba. ... a középiskolások a szomszéd helységbe, Erdőszentgörgyre járnak tanulni, naponta ingáznak autóbusszal. ... Ildikó jövőre fog érettségizni és orvos szeretne lenni. Elhivatottságát mostmár semmi nem kérdőjelezi meg, de a felvételihez szükséges könyvek megvásárlása, valamint majd a marosvásárhelyi lakhatás komoly nehézségeket állít elé. ... Júlia, az egyik legidősebb lány Sárospatakon tanul a Teológián, hogy lelkész legyen és egy napon átvegye a ház lelki vezetését. We found out that ... all of them are doing their best and received the best grades. ... one of the young girls is so talented in art that, without any previous preparation, she placed second in the School of Arts in Târgu-Mureș out of 250 applicants. ... the older ones go to high-school by bus daily to the neighbouring town. ... one of the older girls, Ildikó would like to study medicine. Although she is already preparing and learning, she faces great difficulties when it comes to buying the necessary books or paying her housing in the city once she was admitted. ... Júlia is studying in Sárospatak, Hungary to become a minister and be able to take over the spiritual leading of the Home.

11 Megtudtuk, hogy ... Attilának öt kisebb húga van. Annak ellenére, hogy tehetséges volt, és egyetemre mehetne, tudja, hogy gondot kell viseljen a testvéreire, így az otthon vezetője rá bízta az állatok gondozását, amiből gazdálkodhat. ... Norbi Marosvásárhelyre jár egyetemre a Sapientia Tudományegyetemre automatizálás szakra, ahol második tanuló. Reggel 6-kor indul el otthonról, estére pedig visszaérkezik a házba, ahol még segít a matematikában kisebb társainak. A havi buszbérlete 350 lejbe kerül. Mivel erre nem volt már fedezet, el kellett volna adni egy tehenet, hogy ki tudják fizetni – de ezzel az Attila létfenntartása kerülne veszélybe. Éppen ezért az összegyűlt adományból végül a Norbi négy havi buszbérletét fogják kifizetni. We found out that ... Attila has 5 younger sisters. Although he was talented and could have gone to university, he knew he had to take care of his sisters. Therefore, he was tasked with looking after the animals and, with that money, he can support his sisters. ... Norbi is a student in Târgu-Mureș/Marosvásárhely at the Sapientia University. He is studying automatization and he is second in his grade. He leaves from the house every day at 6 in the morning. In the evening when he is back, he is helping his younger fellows with their homeworks in mathematics. The monthly bus pass costs almost 100 euros that they did not have any more coverage for and should have sold a cow – endangering with this Attila’s work. So, it was decided that the money collected by us would be used to buy his bus pass for 4 months.

13 Az Otthon The House where they live
Egy külföldi adakozónak köszönhetően sikerült új mosógépet vásárolni. Ezt csak télen használják, nyáron mindenki kézzel mossa a ruháit. Thanks to a generous donation from abroad, they could buy a new washing machine – although they use it only during winter time, in summer time everyone is washing the clothes by hand.

14 Bár adni mentünk, inkább kaptunk
Bár adni mentünk, inkább kaptunk. Meggyőződtünk róla, hogy az adományra valóban nagy szükség volt, és igazán különleges karácsonya lett a gyerekeknek. Egy kedves adakozónak köszönhetően életükben először mindenki névre szóló ajándékot kapott az Angyaltól. De az élet a házban nem áll meg karácsonnyal. A gázszámlákat ki kell fizetni, a melegvizet biztosító kazán nagyon rossz állapotban van, újat fog kelleni vásárolni. A gyermekek ellátása, iskoláztatásának összes költsége komoly anyagi fedezetet igényel, ami jelen pillanatban nincsen hosszú távra biztosítva. Éppen ezért szeretnénk kérni e bemutató által mindenkit, hogy fogjunk össze, és segítsünk ezeknek a gyerekeknek és fiataloknak, hogy esélyt kapjanak az életre és álmaikat valóra válthassák. Köszönjük! Dorka és Csilla Although we went to give, we have rather received. We saw how much the donations were needed and managed to make the Christmas of these children special. Thanks to a benefactor these children received a present one by one for Christmas for the first time in their lives. However, life does not stop in the Home with Christmas. There are bills due, the heater providing warm water is in really bad condition and will need to be replaced. Providing the children with food and all the necessary costs of school is a serious financial burden that has no cover at the moment on a long term basis. Therefore, we would like to ask you by this presentation to join us and help these children and young adults to have a chance for life and the realisation of their dreams. Thank you!
