2 Iz. 40,1-3 Comfort ye, comfort ye my people, saith your God. Speak ye comfortably to Jerusalem, and cry unto her, that her warfare is accomplished, that her iniquity is pardoned. The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Vígasztalódjál, vígasztalódjál én népem, így szól Istenetek! 10 Iz. 60, 2-3 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the Lord shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee. And the Gentiles shall come to Thy light, and kings to the brightness of Thy rising. 12 Iz. 9,6 For unto Us a Child is born, unto Us a Son is given: and the government shall be upon His shoulder: and His name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. Mert egy gyermek született nékünk, fiú adatott nékünk, és a fejedelemség az ő vállán és hívják nevét: csodálatosnak, tanácsosnak, erős Istennek, örökkévalóság atyjának, békesség fejedelmének!

13 Lk. 2,8 -13 There were shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. Felmentél a magasságba, Magaddal vitted a fogságot, Ajándékul az embereknek – Még a Téged elutasítóknak is – Hogy maga az Úr Isten l lakozzék közöttük.

33 Zsolt. 68,11 The Lord gave the word: great was the company of the preachers. Az Úr Igéje hallatszott: nagy volt az örömhírt vivők serege.

34 Róm. 10,15 How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! Milyen gyönyörűek a békét hirdetők és a jó hírt hozók lábai!

35 Zsolt. 2,1-2 Why do the nations so furiously rage together, why do the people imagine a vain thing? The kings of the earth rise up, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord, and against His anointed. Miért dühösködnek a pogányok, és gondolnak hiábavalóságot a népek? A föld királyai felkerekednek és a fejedelmek együtt tanácskoznak az Úr ellen és az ő felkentje ellen:

36 Zsolt. 2,3 Let us break their bonds asunder, and cast away their yokes from us. Szaggassuk le az ő bilincseiket, és dobjuk le magunkról köteleiket!

37 Zsolt. 2,4 He that dwelleth in heaven shall laugh them to scorn, the Lord shall have them in derision. Az egekben lakozó neveti, az Úr megcsúfolja őket.

38 Zsolt.2,9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; Thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel. Összetöröd őket vasvesszővel: széjjelzúzod őket, mint cserépedényt.

Mindnyájan ugyan nem aluszunk el, de mindnyájan elváltozunk. Nagy hirtelen, egy szempillantásban, az utolsó trombitaszóra.

43 1Kor. 15,52 - 53 The trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. A trombita fog szólni, és a halottak feltámadnak romolhatatlanságban, és mi elváltozunk. Mert szükség, hogy ez a romlandó test romolhatatlanságot öltsön magára, és e halandó test halhatatlanságot öltsön magára.
